There is surely a storm coming
Before the storm comes the wind
Gentle and soft as those who have sinned
The water lays, awaiting the touch
The ripples dance and sing, believing
As the wind rustles the quiet evening
Shadows run, the wind pursues
The water laughs at the shadows flight
The wind, gentle, soft brings light
Light shows the wind’s desires
As the light and ripples dance the night
Shadow fears the wind, its plight
On the water, a soiree is played
And the wind, the wind stirs the water
There is surely a storm coming
There are few things in existence more powerful than love. So few that the fact they exist at all warrants a brief discussion. I would first contend that Love cannot exist without a pre-existing condition. This condition is forgiveness. Love and forgiveness are two sides of the same coin, you cannot have one without the other. They are mutually assurant to each other. When you combine these two they synergistically form the pre-existing condition for that which is more powerful than both of them. Hope.
Hope is both the wind under your wings and your destination in sight. It is the excitement of the unknown, a direct contradiction to fear of the unknown. It is a flood sweeping away judgement and skepticism. It is the awakening to the morning sunshine following a long and lonely dark night. It is lifting up your eyes towards the heavens and appreciating what you already have. It is the light at the end of the tunnel.
